Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province belongs to the plateau region and its natural conditions are relatively poor. The many strong earthquakes that occurred in Yushu County in 2010 caused major damage to the local infrastructure. In recent years, water supply pipe networks that have been rebuilt after the disaster have a high leakage rate due to various factors and cannot be effectively controlled. In order to speed up the investigation of leakage and achieve more efficient management of the network, Jiegu Town, Yushu County adopted measures to rebuild 48 pressure and flow monitoring points and build a new 2000m water supply pipeline. This places high demands on smart devices that effectively monitor pressure and flow.
The flow and pressure data are two non-negligible monitoring parameters in the water supply network inspection.
