· GM recalled 1.3 million old fire hazards
According to the news, GM announced that it will recall about 1.3 million old cars and coupes with oil spills in the United States. Some vehicles still have a fire after maintenance.
GM announced that the recall was for the old models from 1997 to 2004, involving: the Pontiac Grand Prix from 1997 to 2004, the Chevrolet Impala in 2000-2004, the Chevrolet Lumina in 1998-99, and the Chevrolet Monte in 1998-2004. Carlo, and the 1997-2004 Buick Regal.
General Motors said that in the past six years, 1,355 fires have been caused by oil spills and 19 people have been slightly injured.
The recall also covers Canada, Mexico and other export markets, with a total of approximately 1.4 million vehicles.
