PD-708V Powder Coating Equipment

Electrostatic powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses finely ground particles of pigment and resin, which are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto electrically grounded parts. The charged powder adheres to the surface and is held in place until it is melted and fused into a smooth finish in a curing oven. Before applying the coating, the parts are typically pretreated similarly to those coated with liquid paint. This pretreatment is usually carried out in sequence with the coating and curing processes.
