Alcoa First Establishes Aluminum Wheel Factory in Suzhou (Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, USA, Cleveland, OH, USA, December 13, 2012) Alcoa Corporation (NYSE:AA) today announced that Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products (AWTP) has opened a new production facility in Suzhou, China At the factory, this marked that the manufacturing, distribution, sales and service network of Alcoa Wheel Products will be fully launched in mainland China. The plant is the first wheel product manufacturing plant that Alcoa invested and built in China following North America, Europe and Japan.

“Given the development of China's infrastructure industry and the positive performance of Alcoa Wheel products in the Chinese market in recent years, we naturally choose to continue to expand our global manufacturing footprint through the strategy of opening manufacturing plants in China.” Alcoa Mr. Tim Myers, President of Wheel & Transportation Products, said. The factory has skilled workers and sophisticated machinery and equipment. It is currently in operation and will provide forged aluminum alloy wheels for commercial vehicles. It is understood that AWTP entered China since 2004 and first sold automobile wheels in Shanghai. With the continuous development of business, employees' bases quickly spread throughout Guangzhou, Beijing, Jinan and Suzhou. By increasing its distribution network early this year, Alcoa has established a strong sales and service network throughout China.

“We are very pleased to see that the new plant is located in the vibrant Wuzhong District of Suzhou City. The construction of the plant has also received strong support from the Suzhou Wuzhong Economic Development Zone and the local government.” Mr. Tim Myers said, “They The professional qualities demonstrated and the policy guidance provided have greatly facilitated the opening of the new factory and allowed it to be put into operation ahead of schedule."

Architectural Tension Bar For Construction

High Strength Steel Tie Rod are steel structural members made of carbon structural steel and alloy steel, processed by machining, heat treatment and surface anti-corrosion treatment, supplemented by adjusting sleeves, lock and joints etc. The steel tie rod are important components of steel structures for construction of giant, large span buildings and ship docks. They are mainly used for prestressed parts and large span buildings in construction projects. While the strength of the product is improved, but the plasticity index is not reduced, which satisfies the principle of using the same amount of strength in the architectural design. The tie rods, tie bars, tension rods and tension bars steel grades are specified as grade 460, grade 520, grade 550, grade 650.
