**Autodesk Expands Support for Construction Companies Worldwide with New Workflows Aligned to ISO 19650 Standards**

These workflows are crafted to assist customers in adhering to ISO 19650, a globally recognized standard for managing design and construction information. With these updates, users of Autodesk Build, Autodesk BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, Autodesk Takeoff, and Autodesk Docs can now opt to store their project data primarily in Europe, addressing a frequently requested feature for European-based projects.
The introduction of standardized processes across the construction sector enhances productivity and strengthens collaboration among all project stakeholders. ISO 19650 emphasizes adherence to specific protocols, such as adopting standard naming conventions and ensuring proper storage and management of project data. This uniformity streamlines operations, improves efficiency, and establishes a safer, more secure method of handling data governance.

### New Workflows Supporting ISO 19650
Developed in close partnership with Autodesk customers, these new workflows within the Construction Cloud allow teams to configure, organize, and distribute documents efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. Key capabilities include:
- **Preview and Enforce Naming Standards:** Teams can now establish, manage, and apply naming conventions across project files, ensuring all files align with the project team’s standards. Document controllers can begin with a pre-made template to define and enforce the naming protocol.
- **Validate Naming Standards:** Users can automate file uploads and verify that files adhere to the project’s naming standard, helping teams comply with ISO 19650 requirements.
- **Holding Area for Non-Conforming Files:** When uploading multiple files, some may fail to meet the enforced naming standard. The Holding Area isolates non-conforming files, allowing compliant ones to proceed while the others undergo further validation.
- **Boost Efficiency with Integrations:** Native integrations with Revit, AutoCAD, and Desktop Connector enable users to enforce standards consistently across various project stages.
### Regional Data Storage in Europe
Customers using Autodesk Build, BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, Takeoff, and Docs now have the flexibility to store their project data primarily in Europe. Both ISO 19650 compliance and localized data storage are commonly sought after by customers working on European projects. By offering the option to store data locally and introducing workflows tailored to ISO 19650, Autodesk empowers construction teams globally to remain competitive during the bidding process.

As the core data management platform for Autodesk Construction Cloud, Docs previously came bundled with subscriptions for Construction Cloud and the AEC Collection. Teams will soon be able to access the benefits of Docs independently, creating a unified source of truth across the project lifecycle.
