Connecting the tools, processes, and people in our customers' workflows is essential to helping them unlock more value from their Building Information Modeling (BIM) data. This not only enhances collaboration and efficiency but also leads to better outcomes for both businesses and the built environment.

BIM has become the backbone of digital transformation in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. That’s why we’re deeply focused on building a cloud-based AEC information model that ensures project data is accessible to the right people at the right time, with actionable insights that drive competitive advantage.

While we continue to work toward our vision of an industry cloud, we’re also committed to addressing the immediate needs of our building design customers. I’m thrilled to announce that Autodesk has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire UNIFI, a powerful cloud-based solution that helps organize, access, and manage content across Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, and other design tools. Managing content across multiple projects can often be a time-consuming and manual task. With UNIFI, our customers will be able to quickly find, search, and load BIM content anytime, anywhere—significantly improving productivity and workflow efficiency.

Once the acquisition is complete, existing UNIFI customers will continue to have full access to the product and support as we work on seamless integration. This move is also exciting for our broader Autodesk customer base. UNIFI will enhance our current offerings, enabling teams around the world to extract even greater value from their BIM data. Better asset management is a critical step in the journey toward digital transformation. Looking ahead, UNIFI’s underlying technology will provide key AEC data capabilities that connect customer data and deliver the insights needed throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.

This acquisition strengthens our commitment to helping customers succeed today and in the future. With UNIFI, we’re equipping our users with the tools they need to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

The acquisition of UNIFI by Autodesk is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during Autodesk’s first or second quarter of Fiscal Year 2024. The timing and outcome of the transaction are subject to these conditions. The anticipated benefits described here are based on current expectations and are subject to the successful completion and integration of the acquisition.
