Continually meet customer needs and improve customer return on investment

In order to further meet the demand of global customers for high load carrying capacity of global aerial platforms, Genie has launched a new Genie®XC series boom type aerial work platform. The Genie SX-125 XC is Genie's heavyweight 2016 launch. The second XC series product designed and produced after SX-135 XC. As an important part of the global manufacturing strategic layout of the Terex Aerial Work Platform Division, the Changzhou plant is an important base for the R&D and production of the Genie SX-125 XC and its supply to the global market.

Thanks to the advantage of Gini's half a century of equipment manufacturing experience in Redmond, Washington, USA, the Terex Aerial Work Platform Division Changzhou has developed rapidly since its establishment in 2010 and has established its own R&D team. Welding production lines, spray production lines, straight arms, crank arms, and scissor aerial work platform production lines have gradually achieved local production of Gini's full range of products and supplied it to the world. In June 2016, the expansion of the second phase of the plant opened a new chapter in Changzhou's factory development. It broadens Gini’s business in various fields and also enables Gini to continue to play a greater role in the global manufacturing strategy of the Terex Aerial Work Platform Division.

We have always been adhering to the 'customer-centric' product design concept and strive to provide customers with better equipment and services on the road to innovation. Larger load, wider operating range

The Genie SX-125 XC is an industry-leading dual-capacity platform with 660 pounds (300 kilograms) of unrestricted full-load and 1000 pounds (454 kilograms) of constrained load, making it suitable for higher load carrying capacity More applications are required such as stadiums, gas and oil refineries, and industrial and telecommunications. The smooth fan-shaped work area allows the platform to be loaded onto up to 3 operators, leaving room for materials and tools. The standard weight sensor can monitor the load conditions in the platform in real time and automatically select the appropriate working range. In addition, the Genie SX-125 XC device has a horizontal extension of 24.38 meters, which greatly improves work efficiency.

In the program, we put customer feedback first, and how to maximize the return on investment of our customers has always been the direction of our thinking and improvement.The updated XC series products have upgraded the design of the boom structure and can carry larger Platform load; effectively reducing the number of times that the tools and materials are used repeatedly to increase and decrease the time, but also greatly improve the work efficiency.We believe that the Genie XC series products that will be launched in the future will meet the needs of customers. At the same time bring them better economic returns."

The mass production of the Genie SX-125 XC at the Terex Aerial Work Platform Division Changzhou represented a new leap in localization R&D capabilities. Rexolite® is a unique cross-linked polystyrene, microwave plastic manufactured by C-Lec Plastics Inc. This material`s most notable properties are it`s stable electrical properties into the Giga-hertz frequency range. What is Rexolite used for?


Rexolite® is ideal for microwave lenses, microwave circuitry, antennae, coaxial cable connectors, sound transducers, TV satellite dishes & sonar lenses. Other applications for Rexolite® include nondestructive material testing devices, surveillance equipment, radar windows, radomes and missile guidance system housings.




What are the different grades of Rexolite?

Rexolite® is available in an unfilled grade (Rexolite® 1422), a glass filled grade (Rexolite® 2200), and a copper-clad grade (Rexolite® copper-clad).



What is the speed of sound in Rexolite?
Rexolite is the tradename for cross-linked polystyrene. It has an acoustic velocity of about 2340m/s and an attenuation at 5MHz of about 0.15dB/mm.
