When you wear different uniforms, but play for the same team... no matter the patch, we are all still family!

Thank you to the men in red for quickly responding to a house fire on Oxford and Washington this afternoon. The Chicago Ridge Fire Department was joined by multiple agencies including North Palos FD, Burbank FD, Bedford Park FD, Bridgeview FD, and Oak Lawn FD. Their quick response and teamwork made all the difference.

Officers Kaspar and Jenen helped the homeowner safely remove their two dogs from the scene. Once the fire was under control, the two cats were found safe and sound. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. It’s heartening to see so many first responders come together to protect the community.
