I just got some aerial footage of the brand-new fire station being built at O’Hare Airport. It’s really coming along nicely, and these images give you a great bird's-eye view of the progress. Here’s one shot that captures the entire structure from above—it almost looks like a work of art with all the angles and symmetry. The next image is a closer look at the front facade. You can see the attention to detail in the design, especially around the windows and the entrance. There’s also an interesting play of light and shadow on the walls, which adds depth to the overall aesthetic. Then there’s this wider perspective that shows the surrounding area. From up here, you can see how well-integrated the building is within its environment. The final few photos are more detailed close-ups. They highlight features like the roofline, the parking areas, and even some of the equipment that’s already been installed. It’s impressive to think about what this fire station will mean for safety at such a busy airport. Thanks again to Drew for sharing these incredible shots! I’m sure it won’t be long before they’re fully operational and ready to respond to any emergencies. This project is definitely one to watch as it nears completion.
