Recently, South Korean tire manufacturer Nexans Tire announced that it ranked fourth in the 12 tire brand rankings of the passenger car segment of the 2016 JD Power original tire customer satisfaction survey, which is significantly higher than last year's customer satisfaction.

Nexans tyres said the results of the survey indicate a significant improvement in Nexans tires. Through continuous R&D investment, Nexans will continue to improve product quality and technology to increase global customer satisfaction and become the world's leading tire manufacturer.

The main factors of the tire satisfaction survey include driving performance, traction and handling, durability and appearance.

The “endurance” of Nexans tires has increased significantly by 82 points compared to 2015. “Durability” is the most important factor in the customer's perception of all tire satisfaction factors, and this factor has helped the company's product customer satisfaction to be significantly improved.

JD Power is a global market information services company known for its new car quality customer satisfaction survey. The results of the 2016 US Original Tire Customer Satisfaction Survey were based on the response of 3,1977 new owners who purchased vehicles for 2014 or 2015 from October to December 2015.

The survey included 12 tire brands: Bridgestone, German Horse, Dunlop, Firestone, Goodyear, Hankook, Kumho, Michelin, Nexans, Pirelli, Toyo and Yokohama.

Nexans tires currently has four research institutes and three production plants in Korea, China, the United States and Europe (two in South Korea and one in Qingdao, China).

In October 2015, the company began construction of a new tire manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic. The plant will be equipped with state-of-the-art automation systems and environmentally friendly technologies and is expected to be operational in 2018.
