STX Shipbuilding Marine said on the 16th that it signed a first phase of technology transfer contract with Seaspan to modernize the Vancouver shipyard. Seaspan is participating in the Canadian government's NSPS (National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy) project, and STX Shipbuilding Ocean will work with Seaspan to provide a variety of technologies for improving the shipyard environment.
STX Shipbuilding Ocean will participate in the project through three stages.
