Recently, the construction project of straw-based coal-fired closed direct-fired heating project undertaken and implemented by Tianjin Agricultural Machinery Bureau and Baoji District Agricultural Machinery Center completed all construction contents. The straw heating boiler was officially put into operation in Bajie Town, Baodi District. A total of three demonstration sites of Huanxizhuang Village, Huanxizhuang Primary School and Qingshui Siyuan Agricultural Planting Cooperative were built. Five straw direct-fired boiler systems were introduced to meet the heating requirements of 23,000 m2 area. The daily consumption of rice straw was about 10 tons. The entire heating season is expected to be effective. Processing 1,500 tons of straw, saving the cost of 379,500 yuan. After the boiler was successfully operated, the inlet and outlet temperatures reached 40 °C ~ 60 °C on average, and the room temperature of the demonstration point reached above 18 °C. The heating effect was good and it was recognized by the people.
