**Alabama News Center:** What is your company’s overall focus and mission?
**Caradoc Ehrenhalt:** At EV Safe Charge, our mission is to keep people moving sustainably by enabling the EV revolution. We provide flexible electric vehicle charging solutions that support the rapidly growing EV market. Our latest innovation, ZiGGY, is a mobile EV charging robot equipped with interactive digital advertising screens. This technology allows shopping centers, hotels, airports, and other facilities to overcome the limitations of traditional stationary chargers. With ZiGGY, you can get on-demand charging without the high cost of electrical infrastructure. Plus, the built-in ad server offers an additional revenue stream through targeted advertising.
**ANC:** What inspired you to start this company? How do you want to contribute to the future of energy and tech?
**Ehrenhalt:** I wanted a cleaner planet, so I got an EV. When I tried to find a charger, the dealer didn’t know much about installation. That’s when the idea for EV Safe Charge was born.
**ANC:** What attracted you to the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator?
**Ehrenhalt:** The people and the strong focus on energy and sustainability.
**ANC:** What is the No. 1 thing you’d like potential investors to understand about your company?
**Ehrenhalt:** That our mobile EV charging robot, ZiGGY, is receiving huge global demand, with signed letters of intent and pilot projects already underway.
**ANC:** What takeaways do you hope to gain for your company by participating in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator?
